Meyer

Meyer is the popular choice among the early lemons in the domestic market due to its soft and easy to squeeze form and high juice content. Meyer can be harvested as early as beginning of August for sale in Turkey. The fruit is characteristically small, mostly abundant in 45mm-65 mm. Although the fruit size is small, Meyer has a thin, shiny skin, producing an extremely attractive appearance. One down side is that it needs delicate handling at the packing stage as it is vulnerable to damages resulting from intensive degreening.
